Multifaceted Edom.

Recent Research on Southern Transjordan in the Iron Age
from an Archaeological and Cultural-Historical Perspective

The conference focusses on Edom in Transjordan. Originally planned to take place at the German Protestant Institute of Archaeology in Amman in June 2020 the conference is now turned into a virtual event taking place from 8th to the 10th of June, 2021.

About the conference

The conference will discuss the current state of research on the Iron Age in Southern Transjordan.

Programme

The conference will be held online 8th-10th June 2021 according to the scheduled programme.

Participants

Renowned international scholars will participate in the conference to broaden our view of ancient Edom in Transjordan.

Speaker abstracs

Various topics will be adressed. The presentations will be recorded and made available open access on this website.
